The Loss of a Child is the Most Tragic Event That Could Occur - Best Price Child Caskets
When I was organizing my baby's funeral, the funeral director preferred me to buy a funeral casket for my son's services. I was without a doubt at a total state of shock, and the concept of a casket set me in total hysterics and more tears.
I told the funeral director that I would not be purchasing a casket for my baby. Didn't want my final thoughts of my treasured baby boy of him being in a casket. Emotionally and financially, I could truthfully not grasp the reasoning of having a funeral casket for my little one. He would be cremated following the services to hold his ashes rest inside an urn at my house.
The chaplain, which i originally connected with in the medical center after my infant's delivery, came to the funeral home with me to arrange the services. It was very apparent to the pastor how upsetting the organization process was for me. She assured me that she would have something special for the services and cremation for my child to rest in. The pastor instructed me not to worry regarding this part of the preparation as she would not place my baby inside of a infant casket.
I remember the funeral director requesting me,'. .. how do you expect us to not have a funeral coffin. ..' . My response was, 'It does not matter if you were to just place him in a blanket, as he will be in my arms for most of the service.'' I wouldn't care should you just swaddle him up inside a blanket and put him on a couch, mainly because he'll be in my arms for much of the service .' The funeral director is a lovely women that had been my age in her early 20s at the time. My determination to have my baby's services organized to my preference and approval set the funeral director into a state of shock, I think.
My infant's service was this funeral director's first baby funeral service. I hope in some small way, that I created an alternative for future infant services. I desire that by my suggesting alternative methods of not using caskets and still presenting a nice atmosphere for an otherwise emotionally charged time, that the funeral director will forever remember my son's service and assist others the same way.
Upon arriving at the church, I was delighted to see my baby lying in a beautiful wooden doll cradle, wrapped in a nice and Soft Blue Baby Blanket. The cradle as well as the comfortable and tender atmosphere was suited wonderfully for my wonderful tiny prince!
It absolutely was an incredible and bittersweet afternoon as this was the first day, which i was truly able to hold my boy in peacefulness. I will forever be in debt to the pastor. She stood beside me throughout the entire funeral service organizing process. She performed the funeral service and the baptismal for my baby as well. The pastor has continued to be there for me personally through bad and good moments after losing my little one.
Funeral Directors and Local Clergy possess a difficult task in presenting peace of mind and comfort to individuals who have lost a kid of any age.
